My friend had been telling me I needed to try Marilynn’s so I grabbed my mom and kids and we checked it out. First of all I want to say that I love the fact that it is in an old gas/service station. It is clean and hip. All the staff is kind and helpful. The food is delicious and you won’t be disappointed with the proportions. I will definitely be back to enjoy it again!

Marilynn’s Place is to die for! The shrimp Po-boy is absolutely out of this world. It is loaded with delicious shrimp and drizzled with an amazing remoulada sauce. The Gumbo is rich and flavorful. Just like something you would get at a NOLA street cafe. The service could not have been better. Prices...not cheap, not expensive 11.95 for an 8” shrimp poboy that is stuffed to the MAX. Definitely an 11 out of 10, service & food wise. I highly recommend sharing, portions are huge.

Delicious food, charming little setup, and great great service. I'm only sorry I forgot the young lady's name that waited on us, so I could praise her by name as well. But she knows she's a good server 😉

Questions & Answers

Good!

Yes it is

Pretty much one of the best restaurants in the SBC(Shreveport Bossier City) area. The Sunday mimosas are the best!

yes, good selection

Not cheap but not the most expensive in town. It's well worth the price. You get a very good meal and it's usually more than you can eat in one sitting. My wife and I can usually eat there for around $30.00 to $40.00 depending on what we order.

Yes, they are open for brunch from 10 until 2 i believe. Get there early, lines form quick

Not sure about all that but they have a hell of a po'boy and some dang good beignets!

Perhaps as a special but not part of their main menu.

I see boudin balls on the menu as a side order.
